Stage 1: Applied Research
ABE network infrastructure will be designed to integrate lattice-based cryptographic schemes, security analysis and consensus algorithms. The building blocks of the Abelian network will be established including the development and construction of the cryptographic framework. -
Stage 2: Cryptographic Algorithms
Lattice-based cryptographic schemes, including linkable ring signatures, homomorphic commitment schemes, and zero-knowledge proofs, will be implemented according to the infrastructure design for quantum-resistance. These cryptographic schemes will provide the backbone of the privacy features available on ABE. -
Stage 3: Infrastructure Development
InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) will be developed, along with creating the ABE Blockchain and ledger architecture, implementing the POW consensus algorithms, and all other supporting components. -
Stage 4: Ecosystem Formation
Wallet compatibility, mining software and hardware, and exchange software integrations will begin development at this stage. Formation of the ecosystem will provide insight into scaling or other issues that may occur before the launch of the main-net. The prototype and proof-of-concept will be released for trials by early investors and select community members. -
Stage 5: Main-net

Stage 6: Token Contracts
Support of smart contracts on the ABE network will be released. Token standards will also be published to allow for custom quantum-resistant privacy-enabled tokens will be available to the community. Enterprise applications built on ABE will now be fully supported. -
Stage 7: Further Enhancement
As ABE will be open source, the community’s growth is key in determining the development path of ABE, including introducing proven new technologies into the ABE platform.
